First, a little history: In 2012, we launched Katipunan Magazine, hoping to broaden our publication’s definition of culture.
We wrote about the offbeat and the unknown, the nonsense people cared about and the important things people should—the clash of culture. For two years, we wrote about the people, places and things we honestly believed mattered.
Today marks the close of a chapter.
The online magazine of The GUIDON has always grown with the times. Two years ago, that meant shifting our spotlight to the bleeding edge of culture. Now it means putting the Atenean back at the center of our publication.
Thank you for sharing your stories with us. Thank you for allowing us to grow with you.
This is Katipunan Magazine—the word on the street, the sound of the underground—signing off.
